On the Planet Trail the distances in our solar system are mapped on a scale of 1:1 billion, with all of the planets re-created as scale models.
The Planet Trail begins at the car park of the Rhine Park Stadium. The route leads along the Rhine to the old wooden bridge, then continues toward Balzers. The more or less straight path offers a rare opportunity to illustrate the relationship between the planets, which are also modelled to scale. The idea is to experience the distances between the planets and to find out more about our solar system.
This natural path is an excellent opportunity to walk along the Planet Trail and enjoy nature at the same time.
